Parasitic space creatures that travels from planet to planet. Their natural form is an orange flexible sphere about one metre is diameter, but they can change their form into a Bubble Skin jump suit. The Ballboid will attach itself to the victim surrounding it. The Ballboid will then slowly digest its victim, which can take several months. Ballboids normally start attacking the highest life form on a planet, then works its way down the different life forms until there is no life left of the planet. When attached to a victim the Ballboid benefits from the same disease immunity.

He is Andrew's father. He owns and runs a hotel near Loch Ness. When Andrew developed an ability to create illusions Bruce thought he was possessed by the devil, this was reinforced by Bruce's strong Christian beliefs. He eventually accepted that Andrew's abilities were not evil when he met the other Tomorrow People. Bruce served with Angus MacDuff in the Korean War, and now employs him in his hotel.
