The
base for the Tomorrow People.
The Lab is hidden in a disused station in the London Underground. It contains
Tim, several rooms for working, and some
sleeping areas. Normally everyone jaunts
into and out of he lab, but there is a door for non-telepaths
to use, after a while Tim used a chameleon
shift to hide the entrance.
There has been one slight redesign of the lab and one major redesign. The first lab centred around two circular tables controlled by Tim, a viewing screen that could slide across one wall and another on the back wall, a jaunting pad and several beds concealed in the walls. Up a few steps there was at least one room, a dark room, there was also a spiral staircase up to an area where they can change into their AE Suits. The lighting was quite dark.
The second lab was a very similar design to the first, but was generally had brighter lighting. The spiral stair case was replaced by an ordinary stair case.
The third lab was a complete redesign. There was only one table surrounded by two long settees, later Tim is able to move the table around the lab, on the left hand wall there was a viewing screen. At the back there was a jaunting pad, on the left and right of the lab were doors to the 'cabins' where the each of the Tomorrow People slept (men to the left, women to the right). At the right hand side there is a scanning table that Tim can use to analyse and treat anyone that needs medical attention.
A technique where the Tomorrow People use Tim to boost the range and strength of their telepathy. It requires the Tomorrow People present to be in physical contact with one of Tim's tables and sometimes to be in physical contact with each other. It normally improves the volume and clarity of the communication. When linking Tim can often locate the person at the other end of the communication.
A large in land body of water in central Scotland. The loch is believed to be several miles deep and could contain a large aquatic creature, known as the Loch Ness Monster.
A
large aquatic creature believed to live in Loch
Ness. Many of the local people near the loch claim to have seen the monster,
but several scientific expeditions have failed to find any evidence. It is
possible that the monster is actually a Placadron
placed in the Loch by the Kulthan to
protect a seam of Barlumin nearby.
An ancient powerful being. He was considered evil, possibly the devil.
The Achromolacus, an ancient book, translated into Latin and Greek, describes the practices of ancient religion, including Lord Sogguth and the Heart of Sogguth.
"Sogguth, Master of Evil, a Lord of the Universe who made war on the creators of Heaven and Earth, and tried to destroy what they had built. Sogguth was defeated and imprisoned for all eternity amidst the fires at the centres of the Earth. Sogguth will remain in his prison until a thousand thousand hear the beat of his heart and weep for him, then he will rise up from the fires of the earth and destroy the Lords of Heaven."The Hearts of Sogguth, the followers of Lord Sogguth, was re-established in 1967. They interpreted the information in the Achromolacus to mean that if they could use a television broadcast to play the Heart of Sogguth drum to more than a million people, Lord Sogguth would be released.
